The Southview Pool will open Saturday, May 25, 2024.
The pool’s last day will be the Sunday before Richmond School District starts their 2023-2024 school year.
Southview Pool accepts credit card, cash, or check.
Hours may change if there is inclement weather or low attendance. If there is inclement weather, around opening time, the pool will try to open around 3:00 p.m. Please sign up for RICHMOND ALERT to stay up to date with the most recent Southview Pool happenings.
The Southview Pool is located in the Southview Park. Southview Pool has been a tradition in Richmond since its opening in the summer of 1980. The pool is open to the public to use during lap swim and general swim hours. This swimming facility features the main pool with a zero entry beach, restrooms with changing area, concession operations, and comfortable deck furniture.

The management and staff of Southview pool need your support in continuing to make this facility a positive and safe environment for your children. Please discuss the rules and regulations with your children prior to their first visit.
Please remind them once they have entered the facility, they should remain inside until it is time for them to leave for the day. Southview Pool is part of the City of Richmond, and cannot be responsible for the safety of your children if they are not in the pool facility.
