Weekly Residential Curbside Yard Waste Pick-Up (April 1st-October 31st)
Heartland Waste provides weekly curbside yard waste pick-up for City of Richmond residents between April 1st and October 31st each year. This service is included in your monthly trash service and is available to all residents. No need to sign up, just simply place your ward waste at your curb each week on the designated pick-up day.

Weekly pick up will include up to 10 bio-degradable bags (no plastic) of yard waste or sticks and limbs cut and bundled in bundles no larger than two (2) feet in diameter and no longer than four (4) feet in length. Yard waste can also be placed into no more than three (3), 20-gallon trash containers that can be manually lifted and dumped into the truck (less than 75 pounds). Plastic is not an acceptable material and will not be picked up.
