MAINTENANCE – LABORER:  The City of Richmond, MO is accepting applications for Public Works positions for streets, water distribution and wastewater collection system.  Qualified applicants shall possess mechanical ability, a valid MO Driver’s License, and capable of operating equipment including dump trucks, skid steer, tractors, mowers, vac truck, and various hand tools.  GIS mapping experience will be a plus.  Preference may be given to those with a CDL. WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR  The City of Richmond, MO is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Plant Operator. Preference will be given to individuals with a wastewater “B” license or higher. Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma, valid Missouri driver’s license, possess mechanical ability, i.e., ability to make minor adjustments and repairs to operating equipment, computer skills including Excel, and available to work weekends as needed. Must be able to perform and understand all lab tests required for wastewater plant operations. Must be able to perform and understand all lab tests that are required for plant operations. Preference will be given to individuals with a Drinking Water Treatment license from MO DNR. Recreation Assistant: The City of Richmond, MO, an EOE, is accepting applications for a Recreation Assistant.  The Recreation Assistant reports directly to the Recreation Director and assist with daily duties.  Responsible for oversight of community based programs including aquatics, soccer, baseball, softball, T-ball, flag football, youth and adult volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, annual city Easter egg hunt, and special interest programs.  Directly oversees operation of the City’s concession stands as well as development and training of employees.  Duties include greeting and assisting the general public; providing information; resolving/directing inquiries and concerns to the Recreation Director.  Successful applicant must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.  Must have a valid Missouri driver’s license, Associates Degree in Recreation Services or related field required, Bachelor’s preferred.
