Downtown Street Improvements
Beginning Friday, September 1st, Pavement Management of Lee’s Summit will begin Pressure Pave surfacing & striping several roads Downtown. As the contractor moves through the Downtown area, we will do our best to inform you of impacted streets and any closures.

Tuesday, August 29th – Contractor states they will begin work on September 1st. Work will begin on College Street (Lexington to Buchanan) and Shaw Street (Lexington to Buchanan)
Monday, September 4th – Tuesday we will be closing the following streets:
W. North Main St. – From Camden St. to College St.
W. Franklin St. – From Camden St. to College St.
S. Thornton St. – From Buchanan St. to Lexington (note: the intersections at Main and Franklin will be open to drive through)
Tuesday, September 5th – Wednesday we will be closing the following streets:
North Main St. – From Camden St. to Shaw St.
Franklin St. – From College St. to Shaw St.
Tuesday, September 19th – Striping of crosswalks and parking stalls began yesterday morning. Please be aware of crews moving through the Downtown area as they progress.
