City of Richmond property owners will have a more convenient way to pay their property taxes in 2019. In an effort to continually provide a high level of service to the residents and businesses, the City of Richmond has entered into a contract with the Ray County Collector to provide billing and collection of City real estate and personal property taxes. This partnership will allow Richmond property owners to pay their City taxes with all of the other County taxes on one statement.
“We are excited to be able to offer an easier option for our residents and businesses” says City Administrator Tonya Willim. “They can now pay one tax bill easily to the County Collector instead of paying a separate bill for City of Richmond taxes”.
The Ray County tax bill will now include City of Richmond real estate and personal property taxes which will be paid directly to the Ray County Collector Julie Chowning. For more information or questions, please contact City Hall at 816-776-5304.
