Paying Your Bill

You can pay your bill automatically each month from your checking or savings account or with a credit/debit card. Your utility bill will specify the exact amount to be paid automatically and will note the automatic payment option selected. Automatic bill payments are processed on the 10th of the month following your bill. If the 10th falls on a weekend, your payment will be processed on the Friday before (8th or 9th). If you have questions regarding your bill, please call us at 816-776-5304 prior to the automatic payment occurring.

  • Automatic Bank Payment (Checking/Savings Account):
    You can pay your monthly bill automatically from your checking or savings account. To enroll, complete the Automatic Bank Draft Authorization Form form and return it, along with a voided check, to City Hall.
  • Automatic Credit/Debit Card Payment:
    You can pay your monthly bill with an automatic credit card payment. To enroll online, login to your Online Utility Billing and Payment Account. From the Pay Bill tab, select “Save this card” then select “Auto Pay” when processing your online payment. Visit to create your account and set up automatic card payments.

You can also pay your bill in person at City Hall Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, mail your payment to City Hall, 205 Summit St, Richmond, MO 64085 or place it in the drop-box outside.
