The Mid-America Regional Council Household Hazardous Waste Event is scheduled for September 21st, 2024! This year the event is being held in Excelsior Springs at 103 E. Water Street, Excelsior Springs, MO. Richmond, Excelsior Springs & Lawson residents are encouraged to participate. Residents can also take their Household Hazardous Waste to collection facilities in Kansas City or Lees Summit. Residents will not be charged a fee as the City of Richmond is a participating community. Please bring ID with proof of residency. The event runs from 8:00am – Noon.
